APPLICATIONS
& APPOINTMENTS
All applications
to Chesterfield
VTS are done
through the East
Midlands Deanery
using the
national
selection
procedure. This
entails a short
listing
procedure in
which candidates
are assessed as
to their
eligibility to
undergo GP
training.
Following this
candidates are
then invited to
attend a
selection centre
where further
assessments are
made as to
whether they are
suitable to
enter GP
training at this
time. Successful
candidates are
then appointed,
taking into
consideration
their
preferences for
available
schemes.
